Cool this video was great
but where do these erased files go
Thanks 5/5 and subed
To everyone who says CCleaner does this….WRONG!!!! Eraser is capable of deleting Cluster Tips and Master File Table entries which can still contain sensitive data. Many many very small files can have remnant references that could potentially be recovered tucked away in the Master File Table where CCleaner does not wipe. Eraser will do this. It is more secure. The MFT is critical to wipe if you’re someone paranoid about any remote reference to the file ever having existed remaining on the HDD.
If I wanted to delete unusued files, I choose CCleaner, Eraser doesn’t really do anything, I had it in my laptop, which was old anyway, and it only had so much GB (about 5) that I was already getting low hard drive messages, lol Thanks for posting tho.
no.that’s why i’m here.i really need to delete some serious shit,i’m fucking scared lol
Excellent Video – just what I was looking for. You have a nice way of explaining things. I’d like to see a bit higher resolution. I use Camtasia for screen capture – it also has a zoom feature to show more clearly what you’re doing.
Thanks
You really don’t know enough about computers to do something like this…
what you can do there, is delete all files from your disk D, that you don’t need, and you computer will download like 24mb per sec!!!

what do you mean by deleting the unused space?
So my main question is after i deleted some files and i empty my recycle bin. The files can still be recovered right?
So after deleting the files and the recycle bin AND i use eraser to overwrite, will this allow files not to be recovered again?
Gotta hear from you guys soon.
sometime i think what the point is in a recyle bin…
CCLEANER!!!!
There are several problems with data shredders that make them prone to not actually erasing all the files on the disk. Because this is being accessed from the Operating System, there are several traces of evidence left. Disk overwriting programs that cannot access the entire hard drive, including hidden/locked areas like the Host Protected Area (HPA), Device Configuration Overlay (DCO), and remapped sectors. Another issue is if you have a bad sector, that sector isn’t wiped.
lol
Stop watching porn and these questions won’t have to be asked. Lol.
